Free Online Tutoring for DACC Student Success

Students at Doña Ana Community College (DACC) have access to free online tutoring through the college's Virtual Success Center, providing flexible academic assistance for students balancing school, work and other responsibilities.

The service connects students with live tutors through Zoom in subjects including biology, chemistry, mathematics, economics, finance, physics, statistics and writing. Students can also receive writing using the “Writing Lab” for assistance in writing and paper reviews without traveling to campus.

According to DACC, the Virtual Success Center is designed to make academic support convenient and accessible to students with busy schedules.

The center also offers MEET, a program that allows students to schedule study sessions with friends or classmates in a private virtual room.

In addition to its online services, DACC's Academic Readiness Center provides in-person tutoring and workshops at the East Mesa and Espina campuses in Las Cruces. Assistance through the Academic Readiness Center is available Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Students can access the Virtual Success Center by signing in to the college's online portal with their DACC credentials. They can then begin to schedule appointments that fit their availability or connect with live tutors through Upswing, which provides assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
