Fun Activities by DACC Libraries
Don't miss out of fun events happening at DACC Libraries!
Classes may have started, but the fun doesn’t stop. Events are still in full swing at the DACC campus with the library hosting many upcoming activities.
Both libraries at the East Mesa and Espina campuses had POP into the library event with free and fresh popcorn to students. The East Mesa Library held a scrunchie making activity to kick off one of many craft activities planned for the semester. They will hold a custom pins and sticker making class on September 10th from 1 to 3 p.m. Then, the Sunland Park Center will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with fresh fruit, paletas, creating a repujado affirmation box, a metal embossing project, and Loteria. That event is September 16th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The same event will be held on September 23rd at the East Mesa Library.
On September 22nd also at the East Mesa campus, there will be a craft event to upcycle old DVDs and make suncatchers. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lastly, students will have a chance to participate in a DIY project while learning about citations during a Creative Citation Workshop: Craft MLA and APA citations at the East Mesa Library on September 24th from 2 to 3:30 p.m. For more information, visit the DACC Library webpage at www.dacc.nmsu.edu.
